SocialKit: AI social toolset built on Cloudflare

Agent Cloud

About the session

Agents are easy to demo and hard to run. SocialKit runs for real: a full AI agent that writes, designs, and schedules social posts, generating words, images, and full videos entirely on Cloudflare, with no servers and no GPUs. This session shows developers and architects the architecture that makes it work: durable agent state in Cloudflare D1, coordination in Durable Objects, media rendered with Workers, Containers, and Queues, and every model call through AI Gateway, all scaling from zero to bursts automatically. We’ll follow one post from prompt to published and show what held up under load. You’ll leave the session with a reference architecture, the agentic patterns, and a playbook to ship your own.

0:03Hi, everyone. My name is Matan. I'm the founder of Taka. Taka is a startup. It's a platform that runs your business social media. We're a startup part of Monday, bakedbymonday .com. And this talk is about a subject matter that we found out that is not that easy as we thought as it should be when we started. Part, like a big part of managing social media for businesses is the content creation. So we went into a rabbit hole, figuring out eventually that we'll create another product within the Taka ecosystem, which is called SocialKit. And this is what I'm going to talk about today.

0:50So SocialKit is the social creative engine that powers Taka. But it's available as an MCP API if you're building your own agents or your platform needs to have social content capabilities so you can use it as well. And it turns out that social content is really a niche. It's really something that is quite different than just generating images or videos. Social is dominated by carousels, short videos. It has its own best practice and tricks that you need to know how to do. better and assuming like not everyone here is a social influencer that creates a lot of content every day we'll start with an example to set the ground so this is a bakery a real bakery in Boston like a quite new one and looks really cool and got my eye because it has like great great social content and it's quite new but already has a few thousand followers and for those of you who's not all day through instagram that's like a really good feed for a business like a small medium business it does not look like handcrafted ads a lot of graphics it looks really authentic shots videos a lot of carousels and if we'll zoom into a specific post that's a carousel type post the idea is to get you engage and swipe.

2:20And once you pass the second slide, it's really a matter of time until you got all the way to the last one, where usually you will find a CTA that will either sell you something or invite you to do something. And you see here this idea of tearing a paper. Once you start scrolling, the paper tears up and a product reveals itself. That's a trend. So that's another thing on creating social content trends. You really need to know. going on and what everyone is doing and what everyone's not doing and it looks quite easy you say to yourself okay I can make that sure so let's go ahead and do it that's how we started when we built Taka and we just use a general LLM for this use case we'll just use chat but you can use any any of them and obviously they can create images here's like a very short prompt and you will get back like obviously exaggerated example of AI slope right you can work yourself into it and getting it better and better but like on a very first impression it's super sloppy no one will ever post it on a real working business with actual customers does not follow any trend on social and that has no best practices of any any kind it's really hard to stay on brand like you can take your way in and start iterating and prompting it all the way until you get something quite good but creating a lot of content on a daily basis you will find yourself that's really a hard task and on top of that it's not really editable so if

3:54you ever tried working creating content with AI first shot it's quite cool then you go into this rabbit hole of trying to fix some small detail and get everything else really wrong and it gets degraded from time to time cool so let's just add this line of do the same thing the exact same prompt just use social kit it will figure out that this is a service it has an mcp agents can sign in freely and they do it all by themselves and you will get something like this all right so just the first prompt really really easy so like on the left side it's the original content and on the right side it's the what just with the general AI and with SocialKit so you can see it's really similar to what the business has already made it's not by chance this is a trend they did not invent this paper tear up so it was really easy mission for a SocialKit and that's just the tip of it because once you start working with it you will immediately get thousands of ideas and ready-made carousels and videos and whatever

5:09All right, so that was just an example and we know how the end results should look like. Let's take a brief look under the hood, what's really happening over there. So it's basically a workflow, okay? We're kind of harnessing the general AI available tools like LLMs, image creation, video creation, everything, obviously, is ready-made product that's available on the... market but creating very good results needs to be really harnessed so we can control the flow so we start by inputting the brand and and the audience so the brand is easy it's like name colors tone of voice even fonts like a visual language the audience can be like creating a post for Instagram is very different than creating a post for LinkedIn or for X and the post brief the same prompt that we gave like the AI just a general idea go in this direction create a carousel that will reveal this pastry

6:23okay so now we go into this phase of generation every step output is the input for the next step okay so it's really easy to comprehend the first step is deciding about the content and the format the format is a carousel and the content is just like a blueprint of the different slides in the in the carousel then we'll get to a visual direction so we give it like the visual system really based on the brand key that we already scattered and the art so it's really simple here that our direction is this product reveal with the paper getting torn now this is probably the coolest phase where like in the end we are creating a very visual output so we need to create assets there are three ways to create assets for the social kit so one is if the user provided an asset like we did we gave a real photo of the piece The second thing is that SocialKit went out and scraped whatever it needs from the website or from the social profiles that are out there, in this case just the logo.

7:44And the third one is SocialKit can create its own assets that it decides it needs inside the post. So, the paper turned frames and the dots, they were created. on like on time with SocialKit eventually giving all that to the composer which compose all of that as a visual like layers this has a side effect like a good side effect that eventually you'll see in a minute we will output not only the binary images and videos we will also output a very editable layered object like you would imagine working with Canva or any other a visual editor. So if the user eventually wants to edit something small, it can just do it manually, not only obeying to AI prompts and losing the control.

8:41And now this is like what makes social kits really different and working really well. Historically, we started with this phase. We first built... a judge, an LLM, the judge's social content. We just fed them with thousands of content, posts from different social medias, and we learned to understand what is a good post, what is a bad post, what creates engagement, what is not creating engagement, and giving a feedback back on what's wrong, what's not working. So currently we have this post, which is okay, but it has its flaws, and the judge currently says, says okay i give it a 50 out of 100 and the issue the biggest issue right now is the headline it's uh it's off -brand it's it it looks uh really not uh well made cool so the judge routes back to the specific um uh point in the flow that was in charge of that cool the visual direction it got a fix like we're closing the loop it's a lens so uh it got fixed and now the uh the grape went to 62 cool we're getting better next up the pastry is bloated and very big you cannot understand that that's a really good -looking pastry cool let's go back to the compose and and adjust this getting to 74 points out of 100 getting better and lastly I think is the CTA right

10:14so the last slide in the in the castle still like the text said swipe to continue which is both wrong and also it's not a CTA so it's not the best practice in social world cool let's invite them to the bakery and get a point that we're satisfied with and we can continue from here okay as I said we will give back to the user or the agent both options also the binary and the editable composition so you can work with

10:47so we started this I don't know five six months ago and it's already kind of exploded we have thousands of agents every day working with this creating social content for businesses all obviously runs on top of clover infrastructure and gives us really really great results so going back to where I started we are building TACA we went into this side mission of creating a content engine but taka gives you the ability if you are a business connect to your social accounts plan ahead post for the month or week see which post worked better manage comments learn to improve yourself over time

11:33yep and that's it so i invite you really to go ahead and try social keep whether you're using it for your own personal agent or you're building a platform that needs agents with social capabilities or you can use Taka if you own a business or you have a friend that owns a business thank you very much for your time
